Keti needs to postpone coming because her exams are scheduled until May 27. I’m always amazed at how things work out. When I enthusiastically agreed to her coming on the 18th, I had totally forgotten that this is the date of the Alliance’s raffle quilt, “The Voice of You and Me 2004,” in Louisville, Kentucky and I’m in charge of the drawing! I really need to check my schedule more often. With this problem solved, my life is a little less stressful. However, this eliminates any chance of Keti getting into the intensive English program at UIC so I’m on to plan B–a private tudor or some other kind of classes. My wonderful friend, Joanne, purchased a gift certificate at a local quilt shop so I hope to entice her to take a quilt class. Counting the days, Karen
