I made it!

It is never an easy journey to get to Georgia but always worth it in the end. After 26 hours of traveling, Keti was there to greet me. I discovered that I did not need a visa. Rules are always changing for the better. The first time I came in 2003, I paid almost $300 in visas. I rode along George Bush Blvd. Newly named after our president. The first one to visit here. I was not able to give my paper at the symposium because of technical problems. The power point projector would not work. We shall try again tomorrow. Bad news about the Silk Museum. It could be closing. I need to get details. The opening of the “Blackand White” exhibition was tonight. There is some incredible work. It was too crowded to get pictures. I will try another day. Had a light dinner at a cafe and now I am home (Keti’s apratment). It feel as if I have been here days instead of less than one. More tomorrow. Karen who is extremely tired but happy to be among friends
