The problems with the power point projector was solved so I was able to give my paper on quiltmaking. I am so happy to report that I was a hit! I love power point and realized just how important visuals are for presentations. Others at the symposium have read long texts which is truly difficult when you have to sit through the translation. I spent time with the girls from Aspindza. I was interviewed for TV. Saw two exhibitions including on from my quilt group. Went to an event given by the CHF ( a nonprofit from the US that helps with development) where we were entertained with wonderful Gerogian folk singing. Walked home in glorious weather. Met an American military advisor on the street. He was from Georgia, the State. We laughed at how pleased he was to be telling us he was a Georgian in Georgia. Tomorrow we will shop for supplies for one of my workshops. I like to use things from here if I can. Full but wonderful days. Until tomorrow, Karen
